What Separates APECS from Health Clubs and SAQ (speed, agility, quickness) Group Training Centers?

Ownership. APECS is owned and operated by Performance Enhancement Specialists and former athletes who are dedicated to the success of the client and the science of exercise. They believe success is measured one "impossible" achievement at a time. 

Membership. Once you have been educated in the APECS method of performance training, you then have the opportunity to enroll in one of our membership options so you can train as an athlete any time you desire.

Individualized Training.  APECS does not believe in a cookie cutter approach to physical improvement. Instead, an individual template is designed from the results of your biomechanical analysis, needs analysis, and athletic goals.  Unlike most large health clubs, you are not required to lock into a membership prior to training at APECS. Unlike personal training studios, after you have been educated in the APECS method of training, you can then choose to enroll in one of our membership options. And unlike SAQ centers, you are not required to work in small groups, with strangers whom may not share the same athletic goals as yourself. We believe in treating athletes as individuals. At APECS our goal is to help you achieve yours.

Training Methodologies. APECS templates and programs are a fusion of Eastern Bloc and Linear Periodization Methods, Auto regulatory and Block Training, Santa Monica ACL Prevention Program, Egoscue Postural Correction Techniques, NASM, NSCA, and CHEK Techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, and much more. The science behind the design, modalities, and implementation of the APECS techniques and programs has led to 2 readers choice awards in consecutive 2 years.

Staff.  APECS has assembled the finest "family" of Degreed, NASM ,NSCA, and Egoscue certified professionals. This highly sought after staff is second to none, each going through extensive training and education in the APECS method under the tutelage of APECS' senior staff.
